Matthew Tkachuk is an American professional ice hockey left winger and alternate captain for the Florida Panthers of the National Hockey League. Selected sixth overall by the Calgary Flames in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, he played six seasons in Calgary before being traded to Florida in July 2022. A two-time Stanley Cup champion with the Panthers in 2024 and 2025, Tkachuk also won Olympic gold with the United States at the 2026 Winter Olympics.
