Danny Etling was born on July 22, 1994, in Terre Haute, Indiana. He attended Terre Haute South Vigo High School, where he played quarterback for the school’s football team. During his senior year, he threw for 1,505 yards and 11 touchdowns, showcasing his potential as a future collegiate athlete. Etling’s early commitment to football was evident as he pursued his passion, ultimately leading him to play at the collegiate level.
After high school, Danny Etling committed to Purdue University on April 17, 2012. He also received scholarship offers from other universities, including Colorado and Iowa.
