Justin Hollins is an American professional football defensive end born on January 15, 1996, in Arlington, Texas. He played college football at the University of Oregon and was drafted in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Denver Broncos. Hollins has also played for the Los Angeles Rams, Green Bay Packers, New York Giants, and is currently with the Los Angeles Chargers. He achieved notable success including a Super Bowl championship with the Rams.
Early Life and Background
Justin Hollins was born in Arlington, Texas, where he attended Grace Preparatory Academy before transferring to Martin High School. At Martin High School, he played on the same defensive line as future NFL first-overall pick Myles Garrett, recording 59 tackles and four sacks during his senior year. Hollins was rated a three-star prospect by several recruiting services and chose to play college football at the University of Oregon over offers from numerous schools including Oklahoma and Baylor.

Hollins played five seasons for the Oregon Ducks, redshirting his sophomore year. He became a starter on the defensive line following his redshirt season, making 51 total tackles and finishing second on the team in tackles for loss and sacks. In his redshirt junior season, he recorded 59 tackles, 11.5 for loss, and 4.5 sacks. As a redshirt senior, he was named first-team All-Pac-12 after making 64 total tackles, including 14.5 for loss and 6.5 sacks. He finished his collegiate career with 184 total tackles, 14 sacks, and was invited to participate in the 2019 East–West Shrine Game, where he was named the game’s defensive MVP.

Early Career (2019-2020)
Justin Hollins was selected by the Denver Broncos in the fifth round of the 2019 NFL Draft. He signed a four-year rookie contract that included $300,000 in guaranteed money. Hollins made his NFL debut on September 9, 2019, against the Oakland Raiders, and recorded his first career sack on November 3, 2019, against the Cleveland Browns. He finished his rookie season with 21 tackles, one sack, and two passes defended in 15 games played. However, he was waived by the Broncos on September 5, 2020.
Breakthrough (2020-2022)
After being claimed off waivers by the Los Angeles Rams on September 6, 2020, Hollins recorded his first sack as a Ram during a Week 4 victory against the New York Giants. In Week 13 of the same season, he made a significant play with a strip sack on Kyler Murray during a win against the Arizona Cardinals.
