Early Life and Background
Christian Kuntz was born in Scott Township, Pennsylvania, to parents Theo and Kathy Kuntz. He has two brothers, Jimmy and Louis. Kuntz attended Chartiers Valley High School in Pennsylvania, where he excelled in both basketball and football. Unfortunately, he suffered a ruptured spleen prior to his senior season of football, which forced him to miss that year. Despite this setback, Kuntz found success on the basketball court, winning a WPIAL title alongside future NBA player T. J. McConnell.

In his senior season, he continued to excel, finishing with 24 tackles for loss and 11.5 sacks. Kuntz concluded his collegiate career with a school-record 30.5 sacks, ranking sixth all-time on the Football Championship Subdivision list for career tackles for loss.

Following his time with the Patriots, Kuntz was signed by the Denver Broncos on March 21, 2018, but was waived by the team on June 14 of the same year.
