Early Life and Background

Nick Vannett was born in Westerville, Ohio, where he attended Westerville Central High School. During his time at Westerville Central, he played for the Warhawks football team and earned all-metro, all-OCC, and all-district selections. As a senior, Vannett had an impressive season with 47 receptions for 606 yards and eight touchdowns. In addition to football, he also played baseball in his youth but chose to focus on football for his college career. After graduating in 2011, Vannett committed to Ohio State University, where he would further develop his skills as a tight end.
