Jamie Drysdale was born on April 8, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. He began playing ice hockey at a young age, participating in the Learn to Play program in Toronto and practicing figure skating at the Toronto Cricket, Skating and Curling Club. As a child, Drysdale wore No. 4 in tribute to Bobby Orr, a favorite player of his father. Throughout his childhood, he played minor ice hockey in the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) with teams such as the North York Knights and the Toronto Marlboros. Drysdale attended St. Michael’s College School, where he also played for the St. Michael’s Buzzers of the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL).
